Okay, you two are not allowed to talk about Christmas anymore. First of all, presents are things you give to people to show you appreciate them and want them in your life! They're wonderful! And you wrap them in colorful paper to conceal them and build suspense, so they can have genuine surprise when they open them!

Over the two thousand years it's had to develop, it's turned into a cultural as well as religious holiday, so that people who are not Christian also celebrate it because of how common it is in American society. Plus, who doesn't love presents!

They think that some traditions, like the decorative trees and the mistletoe—those are the ceiling plants—as leftover from another religion's festival that were assimilated into the Christian one.

Thanksgiving is a holiday to celebrate America. Christmas is just different.

It doesn't have anything to do with missiles or toes, as far as I know. It has a kind of a silly tradition behind it.

I don't know why it's a tradition, but it is. When you find yourself under mistletoe, you're supposed to kiss whoever you're with. But tradition isn't like, a binding contract or anything. I don't think anyone would like, hold you to it.
