She settles against him and it's a familiar thing now, the two of them like this. It's comfortable and he'll never mind her curling up with him like this. He wraps his fingers of his free hand around hers and brings her hand up to press a kiss across her fingers.
"It's okay," he keeps his voice soft and runs his hand across her back gently, partially to help soothe her, and partially to help ease some heat back into her. "you're safe now."
He presses a kiss across her fingers and she huffs a soft laugh, a warmth having nothing to do with body heat and everything to do with that little gesture filling her chest. Even with memories of Zoom sharp in her mind he still takes her breath away. He always makes her feel wanted, and makes her feel loved. Cared for.
Safe.
She nods against him, focusing on the way his hand runs across her back, the warmth of his palm against her, the sound of him breathing. “I always am, with you.” It’s true. She’s always felt safe with him. From the moment they’d met, when he’d come to another EARTH to rescue her, to rescue someone he’d never even met.
Now it's Cisco's turn to feel something bright and warm settle in his chest. She feels safe. With him. He loves the way that sounds, the way it makes him feel to hear it. He'd never thought of himself as anyone's safe place, but it's kind of nice.
"Good," he presses a kiss to her temple. "I'm glad."
The press of his lips to her temple makes her relax a little bit more, and she lets out a soft sigh. She’s feeling warmer, now, and most of it – all of it – is because of Cisco. The memories are still there, the phantom ache in her collarbone where Zoom had driven his talons into her shoulder is still there, but they’re both starting to ease their hold on her, the longer she lays there curled up against him.
She seems to be relaxing more now, which Cisco is thankful for. He knows how rough it can be to get stuck in memories he'd rather forget altogether. He still has nightmares about Thawne shoving his hand through his chest from time to time. And the same way Jesse is always there for him on nights like that, he'll be right here, by her side, to soothe away her memories of Zoom.
He smiles softly and tilts his head to catch her lips against his own.

She shifts, so she can press a kiss to his jaw.
